Can we please figure out why the game keeps desyncing in multiplayer?

This is simply a quality of life Improvement. The sheer unknownness of it all is annoying. There shouldn't be any reason for it to desync at all, as it is a turn-based game supposedly run by the host. If anything it should be able to resync while playing instead of having to go back to the multiplayer Lobby to resync. It is a pile of annoying playing with people and this happens.

The rumor is, that the folks who got to early playtest the 1.06 patch reported that the desync's stopped. However, Amplitude pulled the early patch back for an unknown reason.  Hopefully, they will get it back out for folks to test and we can put this desync behind us!

Hi folks,


We have removed 1.06, because it contained the same game-breaking regression as 1.05. It was an AI optimization which caused infinite end turns, but randomly and well into the game turns. We went too fast with 1.05 and 1.06. As SpaceTroll stated it, we learn from our mistakes and we take a bit more time for the next patch. 


We are especially focusing on multiplayer, we have gather tons of feedback / issues thanks to you, and we hope deliver a preview patch soon.

Do you guys know what the patch release schedule will look like?  I'd like to know when they will occur so I can plan accordingly.

I hope you guys can figure it out. As I posted in a bug-thread (LINK), with patch 1.0.52 me and my friend still have lots of desyncs and it's not fun.
