Bonjour mes amies,

cette une probleme petite mais j'address cela.

So when I click on the planet scan it shows planets with unfallen population having a high level of nitrogen. Now considering unfallen are plants and usually generate oxygen, the atmosphere of a planet inhabitat with unfallen should have a higher oxygen count in the atmosphere. As I said it's rather small, but I'm a guy who likes things immersive.

And since Unfallen create Oxygen, maybe it would be cool if united empire planets would increase carbon dioxid, like in real life. :D

Wouldn't it be cool if that would've some effects in the game? Like, Unfallen planets are easier to burn cause of the high oxygen, and when you play empire you're planet defense will loose health over time, if the carbon dioxid is to high. The temperature should not be affected because I don't think that climate change is real. It would also give the economy side a whole new stand in the game

But still, we have the planet scan, it should react to the changes done to the planet. Oh and huge planets have in real life a significantly higher gravitation, I think.

The Unfallen are space plants. We don't know what kind of atmosphere is ideal for them. Plants are extremely different from each other even right here on earth. In fact, for instance, coniferous trees have chemicals in them that are toxic to deciduous trees.

As to the climate change thing, I'm gonna recommend you put the game down and get caught up on your RL science points if as a human civilization we're ever gonna colonize other planets for realsies. I don't mean that to sound insulting, but reality is indifferent to whether you believe in it or don't.

This ^, Whatever in each planet you can have different type of population, you can have in an Unfallen planet Amoebas, United Empire, etc... so that type of mix can break the way you put it, because planets aren't exclusive for each faction (They can if you want but is not the general thing) that would be a mess if you put pollution as a thing in a United Empire planet that just have 1 United Empire pop and 5 Unfallen, and so on...

I mean, credit to the OP, I do think a full on space sim where one does have to juggle all that stuff is a neat idea. Considering though that "Cerebral Reality" is one of the first options with building improvements, it's safe to say that pretty much every space empire has a headstart on a lot of living issues even before you research your first tech.  As it is, you DO have to think about some of that stuff if you're Riftborn because your native populace have extremely different wants and needs from their environment compared to other factions.
