I was cruising through Youtube just now and I was surprised to find that each Faction has its own Outro. My noob question is: how do I trigger it? I've won a Science Victory on the Sophons and even finished their questline, but no outro ever showed up. And since my computer sucks, I don't think I'll be able to play a game long enough to finish the Defender/Rejuvenator Questlines and see those outros too...

Anyone got any tips/ideas that would help me trigger these cutscenes?

Maybe it's for specific combinations of victories & factions? I got a unique outro for a Financial Victory on Lumeris.

I won a conquest victory as Unfallen (in an alliance with two other factions) and got their outro video, and an (economic? I think?) victory as UE, and saw their outro as well.

Not sure if it's victory condition that unlocks it, but in both cases I had completed the questline.

I def think it's completing the questline that unlocks viewing the outro. Which strikes me as kind of odd I guess, though interesting. Compared to Endless Legend, faction quests in ES2 feel so much more toned down.

maybe it feels like that because in EL the faction quest are linked to both the wonder victory and quest victory making them a big deal. In ES2 wonder victory is now linked to your research in the tech tree and there is no quest victory making the faction quest not required to win the game.

You can find them in the game files, and there is a unique voiceover for the Rejeuvenators or Defenders winning. I've got both Vodyani and TE outros without completing the faction quest.

I am not sure but the outro change depending of how the academy quest end.

Where the outros introduced in a patch? If so it's possible that they don't work for game that started before it. Because I know they were an idea from the community but I don't know when they came about.

In case it's unclear, I've found that you have to quit the game when the victory card pops up. Then the outro will show before you see the final scores. If you click "Continue Playing" you don't get to see the outro movies, which I annoys me, as I like to to make a save files for games just after I've completed them. If I want to see the outro, I have to quit, load the last autosave, and then make my "end of game" save file.

I might be wrong but i think that there might be multiple outros at least the voice over (not the cutscene. depending how the academy quest went.
