I noticed a couple of bugs / problems inV 1.0.19 related to the Vodyani. Those problems are very recent.

1)Uprading ark module is not instantly taken into account anymore: you have to de-anchor your ark and anchor it again so that the new module bonuses are applied

2)Leeching depletes minor factions from their population very fast since a recent patch. You encounter your first minor system, send your fleet there to leech and a couple of turns after it reaches 0, preventing you from gaining essence. I  heard growth was recently reduced across the board, maybe this is a side effect of the growth reduction.

Point one is not user friendly but point 2) makes the Vodyani very hard to play and IMHO game breaking.

Hello, I suggest you make an actual bug report with all there is to it, in the proper forum section, and I second the 1) issue.
