Frogsquadron is being kind of a downer... :-(

It's definitely an ongoing problem with 4x games currently. They are not launching in a ready to go state and that window keeps getting larger. It's a complex problem which also involves player expectations as well as scope creep or at the very least overly ambitious feature numbers.

I'm in the same boat. I won a game with all of the factions and then have stopped play. Its a bit frustrating to look at it in my library and keep saying, "not yet".

I get that summer technically ends on September 21st, but its certainly disappointing to have to wait this long when part of my pre-order was fighters and bombers.

lol. I want the Fighters and Bombers already!

But I rather wait more and have a good product thant something half done. I will still wait a couple of weeks after they are released for a balance pass and bug fix.

Astronomical Definitions of seasons are the ones that are normally used officially, (unless your a meteorologist)

The First day of summer is the June (Summer) Solstice (21 June)

The Last day of Summer is the September (Autumnal) Equinox (22 September)

If i am not wrong, culturally,  french calendar seasons follow astronomical seasons. Well, it's like this for me since i am born. But i didnt give a single fuck about calendar when i was born. It was all about this incoherent sounds and lights and nobody think about give me a cookie.

It does, if you speak about calendar Summer and not astronomical Summer. It feels strange when you refer your official plans to astronomical periods, instead of calendar.
