I think they are busy with the upcoming faction

Just because there are no comments on them does not mean that they are not being read.

In general, Devs like to read the thought a lot but not comment much generally everything on the forums is seen by them but they rarely comment,

I would expect that it's probably a similar situation with ideas.

Yes, we still read all the new ideas you post and think about how we can add them to Endless Space 2 :)
Even if there is no status/comment! (Before giving a status to an idea, the artistic director, lead game designer and producer must agree on it, and it may take some time when the team is busy like now...).

Do you also properly consider suggestions made on the Game Design forum? (Even if you don'tpublicly respond.)

I'm just wondering where is the best place to post any feature ideas I might have... I've created one or two suggestion threads on the Game Design forum, so I don't want to be repeating myself over on the Ideas page. But maybe some types of suggestion are better suited to one place or the other?

It's definitely a good idea to post in the Idea's section (haha.. ahem), as it gets reviewed as part of our process.

We try to read all the posts in the forums, but it's always possible we'll miss something or lose track of on-going discussions.
