1.0.60 Patch Notes [PREVIEW]

Hey everyone,


We have just released a preview build for Patch 1.0.60! If you want to give it a try, please follow these instructions:

  • Right click on the game in your Steam Library
  • Select Properties
  • Select the Betas tab
  • Select the preview(1.0.60) build in the drop down list
  • Click OK
  • Give us your feedback after playing!


[FIXES]

  • "Dust to Dust - Part 3" no longer fails if the pirate fleet is not destroyed in the first turn after the quest is triggered
  • Fixed an issue with Windowed fullscreen mode as reported in this thread
  • Added an error message to inform players in case something goes wrong when saving and giving the reason behind the issue
  • Failing  to start or load a game will no longer result in a stuck  situation: a  message is displayed if the game fails to start, prompting  to report  the bug on the G2G platform
  • Fixed an issue where a quest trigger could generate an infinite end turn

I posted some things in the bug report. Hope they went to use i know they were not direct bugs. Also hoping ship balance is coming. A proper balance would help the ai with counters that i know they use or at least try too, and id love to see new strategies take place, like a meduim ship rush, or a rush to fighters and bombers, ect. Cant wait till all the tools of the game are useful and a viable strategy.  


A balnced combat system will also greatly increase the importance of battle cards which i believe was a design intention. Great job with race balance btw.  There are strong and weak races at the moment but they can all be competitive which is a wonderful achievment. Thanks for the hard work on a great game, just trying to make it greater.  And yes i play single player as much as multiplayer.

Some nice fixes, I actually encountered an infinite end turn last night, and it completly stalled out a multiplayer game OTL. So it's good to see things like this being adressed. I hope the Devs can take a look at balance issues soon too!

Make sure to report your infinite turn in the Bug Reports section if you haven't yet!
