The victory screen has alot of stuff that means very little.

Sure it shows me what rank I currently hold in each of the win categories, but doesn't really describe how this rank is obtained.

There are four rectangular boxes in each win category that may or may not be lit up.  What the heck are these?  How do we light them up?

The outter hexagons seem more like stat boxes of things I have accomplished but doesn't rank those so I can compare my progress to other races.  The fact that I have built 210 buildings doesn't tell me a whole lot unless it ranks that stat against other races (give each of those hex boxes an individual stats rank vs competitors)

There is no transparent way to see how one's score is calculated.

I think the Victory screen requires more detailed "mouseovers" or simply more useful information.

From what I've gathered, these boxes signify a form of progression. 2 out of 4 lit boxes means you're halfway to completing it, or so I'm guessing, not actually crunched numbers or looked into too much. It's very confusing though at times. My other guess to why it's done that way and not a percentage bar is to give little more of a mystery to the progression instead of counting percentages every turn.

I do however agree that all those numbers, while fascinating at first, doesn't really give you a way to calculate anything or compare. The way you could compare to your opponents in Endless Legend with the graph (which you can see at the actual victory score screen) served a much better job at giving a general idea on things, even if I actually disabled it as I preferred to leave things more as a mystery.
