You have made a terrible multiplayer game - you have blocked people in the regions.

The Germans play this Germans To move to another region - you need to change the download center.

It's just awful, because in every region there are no people for a normal game! It is in free weekend! 

Why not do the sorting by ping? Why you just hid the servers from other regions?

In your first game, I could always find players. 

This problem for almost a year.

Do you seriously think that people want to play with your stupid bots?

By the way thanks for the gift you have lowered the price after early access so I bought the base game more expensive then Deluxe Editio.  (All this is before discounts).

In addition, there are still no discounts for upgrading to this version.

The game is not region-locked. If you don't see other games ongoing or being created, I would wager that it is because:

1. You might be playing at a time where few games are being started
2. Players generally want to play with people they know so their games are private
3. The game's multiplayer relies on a peer-to-peer connection, so you might have firewall/network issues

Why when I change the region for example in the US - I'm starting to see other games?

Why can't I see these games in the usual case? All my friends have the same problem.

That behavior is certainly unintended on our part. We'll investigate the issue.

It's just that I'm very upset by not the possibility of a normal multiplayer game.

There is nothing in the game's code that restricts matchmaking, as lobbies are set to be pulled from the worldwide list.

Preliminary testing on our end by switching download region haven't yielded any result--we were always able to see one another's lobbies. If you have a friend whose lobbies you can't see, can I ask you to do the following:

• Check you both are playing without mods and on the same version of the game (no branches)
• Launch a public game
• Have your friend launch the game, refresh the list of multiplayer games available, then quit
• Grab your diagnostics file (located by default under "C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\Documents\Endless Space 2\Temporary Files" -- for Mac users: "User/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Application Support/Endless Space 2/Temporary Files") and select the correct file by looking at the name like "Diagnostics - 2016'10'11 @1407'46''" that gives you the date and hour which should correspond to a save file)
• Upload it here by clicking the little "upload file" button next to the camera button

We still need change region to play. If we are not in a one download region - we don't see each other.

Could you do so that I could see the games from the neighboring regions? Without the need to change the region?

That should be the normal behavior, but we'll investigate to see why it isn't working as intended.
