Does anyone know anything about an update on STEAM? Whatever it is I can't download it or play it. It is not just this game there are several others too.

The update was updating the .NET 4.5.1 Redist to .Net 4.5.2 for any game that uses it across steam I believe, 

I assume the issue would be related to this, 

Try installing the .Net 4.5.2 Redist from the game files & see if it helps.
