After the latet update, I have had at least three games in which titanium prices throughout the game looked like....well, this:
While it's sort of nice to be able to finance your whole empire based on 1-2 titanium mines, I do wonder: Has anyone else experienced something similar lately? Any idea what's causing it? It appears to always be specifically titanium to me.
Medium Galaxy, 6 Competitor's, standard ressources and pretty much standard everything else, except easy pirates. Impossible Difficulty.
I guess it could just be random shortage, but an order of magnitude seems a little extreme. Plus, though possibly coincidentally, it always appears to be titanium for some reason, and I've only started noticing it since the last patch.
The prices due to demand and inflation in statecraft have been adjusted. The new pricing is not titanium specific its just based on what empire needs what resource x amount of the time. Youll find the same is true for hyperium, and you will also find that once you start using resource based structures and resource based ships selling them becomes all the less appealling.
The price increase is directly related to the increase cost of resource based buildings. They require more resources to be built now than before which is infuencing the cost on the market. Excuse the typos this is from a cell phone.

Could be because of the Galaxy size. Such a mid size Gal is pretty packed with AI. This raises demand which raises prices.
There's probably defined that Strategic Ressources need have an x-amount of systems in between them. At least I rarely if ever seen neighbouring systems with similiar strategic ressources. Nodes could also factor in as they get smaller, too. I'd try a bigger gal.
