Familiar Faces

Hi All,

After Jennifer Rach was re-introduced into ES2, and the hero from the Free Weekend looks suspiciously like Burros Techseeker, I was thinking about other familiar faces I'd like to see in the future. So in no particular order, I'll give three of mine:

Keldron Bor

Always a delight in ES1 to encounter our anagram loving, extroverted, seemingly sole survivor of a certain Aurigan aristocracy. I know that we already have our nice Vodyani star vampires, but having a Broken Lord hero as an Ark admiral would be awesome, and fitting. It also made me wonder whether the technology used by the Vodyani was similar to the technology that allowed the Broken Lords to semi-virtualise. The BL have their armour, and the Vodyani have The Cloth. Would be cool to see some kind of connection between them. Either way, Keldron felt super unique in ES1, and it was always nice to know that more than just the Vaulters survived the Aurigan cataclysm (if that's still canon).

Eslek/Emlek/Esseb Tarosh

For a while I thought the mysterious Tarosh would be the role of Isyander. The hero has to be one of the most enigmatic in the Endless series, not only because of the polynymory. Eslek has some attachment to Endless Day or 'The Day of Awakening', and seems to be some kind of virtual endless that acts a solitary librarian. It would be fun to find out more about what this character is all about, what are its intentions, why it was on Auriga (an endless scientist?), how it escaped, and what it's up to now. Of course, I;m assuming these are all the same being. Maybe there are more virtual endless haunting the universe than we though.

And finally, of course...

Opbot

With fingers crossed that the Vaulters will find their way into ES2 despite the fate of the Grey Owl. Given the questline of the Vaulters in EL, Opbot is one of the most filled out, interesting, and tragic characters of the Endless series. Loyal to the Zolya clan, haunted by past traumas, and driven to make amends, Opbot was an existentialist element to the previous games, both in the personal sense of a being that is alone among his people, a figure that is troubled by the desire to live a good life as a healer but faced with a hostile universe. It would be cool to know more about Opbot's past, and maybe see them make their way back to their home on Auriga.

So there's mine, what do others think? Is there anyone you always looked forward to picking up from the Academy that didn't make the initial cut and would like to see again?

It's already confirmed that Opbot will be coming at somepoint, maybe we will be getting a new Tarosh on the coming endless day?

Oh this brings me joy~!
