I would like to suggest two changes to the current movement system:


1. please indicate travel time for move orders to known destinations.
This simply allows you to plan better. Sometimes I have to guess if my ship will take it somewhere in time. For unknowns destinations this is fine, but for known ones its a bit of a gamble.


2. make instant move optional. highlight path and reactivate movement button instead.
Just like the build queue move orders should be reviseable. Quite often I accidently sent a wrong unit for instance. On long travel times and / or beeing on an important mission this can be crutial. Just take the Unfallens vineship...

I suggest highlight the intended move on the map. Move points used should be updated instantly and returned if order is taken back . The movement button shoud be reactivated after each order given.

You can do this, by holding the mouse button pressed, it will show you the pathing & turns needed. Just released the mouse button anywhere else than a targetable direction and you're done :)

Interesting... I didn't know that either... I did a small amount of the tutorial to get the basics, then just played.

thx for the reply - i tested it and it works :) I suggest to use the distance indicator as a hoover effect without the neccessarity to click though...


how do you feel about the second point?
