oh, i definitely wish the disappearing fleet will be fixed in the coming patch, it is extremely annoying. and also the ridiculous lag after turn 120.

are you talking about sp or mp?


I usually play the largest double disc galaxy with 8p in sp and while performance does go down a bit at some point, I wouldn't call it ridiculous. I always love to see performance improvements, though. Can't hurt. 


The best performance-"patch" nethertheless is to hunt down the enemy. See them driven before you and hear the lamentation of their women. It's an unwritten 4x rule to kill your enemies in late game, so game performance will imrpove again. 


Either that or don't play games on a potato. And when there's no other way reduce the settings. That's what the sliders are there for.

All these small ships are funny -- it wouldn't even be so bad since you can pack so much power in a large fleet of small ships. 


Except that the AI seems to supplement their fleets with trash Mediums from the marketplace. That is unfairly hamstringing the AI almost beyond the point of playability.

It'd be good to see this behaviour curbed, the marketplace ships just aren't good enough to justify the AI's excessive use of them.

I was hoping for the patch before Christmas and play a new game with the fleet issue and pirates stopping ai expanding if they spawn too close.
