Just be warned it's probably still beta code in regards to them. 

It doesn't appear to be. It has new assets and new quests.

But it seems the DLC was part of the 2GB update today so you should be able to choose the Vaulters when creating a new game nevertheless.

But it seems the DLC was part of the 2GB update today so you should be able to choose the Vaulters when creating a new game nevertheless.

Love how they mashed up the ES1 Vaulters and Pilgrims gameplay, and I can't wait to mess with Pirate Diplomacy. I was hoping for a proper espionage system, but this defenitely adds a new way to mess with other plays indirectly, which is KIND OF like espionage :P

I am immensely happy that they are a major faction in Endless Space 2 and I can't wait to see how they play in the game.
