A space elevator extends to the planets core, organic and tech in harmony.  Large system bonuses from other uncolonised planets in system. Deep scans reveal Leviathon class shipyard active, drawing power from the planets core.  

The Krill use a mutagenic tech tree composed of a single living gel that grows as science develops.  The growth them mutates into a mutagen that is then spent on tech upgrades.  The scene is a visual moving image of light translucent colours that change and grow.  New techs are unlocked.  The Krill tech tree is always evolving.  

The Krill tech tree is always evolving.  The techs fully grown mutagens are drag and drop into the tech slots.  The Krill tech tree is a sentient living organism that responds to galactic events by mutating new techs.  It is directly linked to its political system in that as conflict grows throughout the endless then it develops more military techs.  If peace is maintained then a more passive government is formed with corresponding techs.  

Unlike the Sophons the Krill have an innate affinity with ecology and sustainability. They perceive threat through destruction of environment. Science is not a religion to them.  The Krill view the Sophons as children to be guided and freed from technological enslavement.

Fleet command was again re established.

“Sorry command we had a situation here.  Our primary coil went offline during scans.  Seems they overloaded our system.  We have docked and the crew re awakened.  Our ship has been repaired and augmented with Biome tech.  Our engineer says he has never seen anything like it.  We have improved sensors and data storage.  We can see the Krill Collective in a way that quite frankly, am unable to articulate.  We are all sharing this common understanding.  This species is like nothing we have encountered before.  Uploading stream now.”

A representation of our spices in the form of an avatar greeted the crew of the Nu-Chromo.  Male and female as expressed by the Krill.

The crew were in total fascination as formal contact was made.  Our envoy conveyed our Emperors wishes for peace and a commitment to relations.  The crew had not realised that they had lost consciousness for three hours and had no memory of events during that time.  The ships chronometer had registered the three hours as null but a scan of the planetoids position had confirmed the anomaly in time displacement.
