I just wanted to clarification about the ship that harboured the prisoners that later on became the vaulter faction in EL and ES2. Is it a ship of an unknown faction? I highly doubt its an endless ship, I mean, the endless are always brought up to be extremely technologically advanced but the ship does not look like its a technological marvel (What i meat to say is that it looks like any of the factions from ES can build such ship)... It cannot be united empire since according to ES they dont know where Auriga is. Anyone knows exactly to whom that ship belongs? Or if we will ever know??

I think the Success is a Mezari Prison Ship which is why it doesn't look so High Tech. Why waste your fanciest tech on some prisioner scum?

Galathad is exactly correct; however, it is important to note that not all of the Vaulters were descended from the Mezari aboard the Success, there was also another failed colony mission in the form of the Argosy as well as a subsequent rescue mission. 

Then why didnt the Mezari that arrived from the failed colony boost the technology of the survivors? Why was the technology lost?

Because there were roughly 1000 years between the crashes and the events of EL. That time would have corroded and destroyed already damaged technology. On top of that, the Argosy became a fortress and was lost to the Necrophages sometime before the events of EL, and a number of random reasons are why any surviving technology could have been lost.
