The question I'm wondering: Sophon physyology. Are they a warm-blooded reptiles, or mb smth else? Who knows?

Maybe the females make sexual pilgrimages where they have sex with some specially choosen people and give birth to other sisters, the males are sent to their parents or work in their monasterys while the females become sisters, or maybe they are like nuns and they recruit females from other humanoid factions.
