Glorious ADA part IV

Hello. I am Eysteinh a long time fan of the endless series.  From time to time I write ARR where i both immerse into the game and also try to show some of my thinking of why I do the moves I do both for my own learning experience but also for others learning experience. Hopefully someone finds this usefull or interesting. This ARR leans more heavily on the strategy part but I also sometimes add immersion or story elements.

My goals at the start of t16 was:

"- Have tripple the population compared with the current turn so at t20 we want to aim for 60 population. This means the 6th system we have should be supported for more growth and making sure all systems are growing 1 pop a turn. 

- Go from 2500 industry total to some 4000+. Should be doable with the current tech possibilities. (roughly 400 from predictive logistics 400+ from way of eagle and the rest from industrial zones and growth) 

- Increase our strategic resource production 

- Increase our dust income by a large margin - should help us grow new colonies faster and for heroes / buying ships  and we still have some space to grow with our Argosy so we need the dust. This is a priority goal for these next turns.

- Get a behemoth for mining - try out if different mining probe modules makes different cooldowns. (also find a system with strategic resource to mine) This will help us trigger a quest. 

- Get a behemoth for scouting and KEII radius.  Use it for way of the obsidian eagle for a strong industry boost. 

- more scouts and honeycomb structures on many systems because we need to look for more possibilities on the map or we are not having the true optimal moves to consider"

New cooporative quest that can net us some hyperium we want for scouting that we are going to do anyhow :)



Probing with 2nd eyes of the republic and sending it across on map. Notice there must be 2 nearby minor factions. We are definivily visiting them. We already have the free move technology so this is not a problem even if no node connection. 



The 3rd rightious kith (that will soon join one of the eyes fleet or create a new) does a great exploration mission where we find ademantian with 3 resources per turn! Great news. Now we need to prioritize ademantian technology for sure.  Also we send out a probe.

The argosy is ready again ! (yikes getting hard to get the dust price to colonize fast) Just a mere 3,5K dust and 33 hyperium and titanium. PFff. 



We boost the argosy with warbanners and upgrade its design and upgrade the ship.



We can reach nihal next turn. Now we just need to get 3,5k dust and a lot of titanium and hyperium somehow 0.o Unless we find hyperium somewhere that is not going to happen.




Vision ranges with honeycomb buildings (+5vision) is not bad at all. So far no luck in finding anything interesting however :(



We won the cooporative quest for behemoths giving us some sweet sweet KEII and a lot of luxury resources



We also gain a new quest to keep Janus free of enemy ships giving us KEII... mkay :) 



Bought 3 Dark glitter to be able to keep boosting ADA population




Now thats more like it 6/6 growth this turn on systems :) (Granted it was also because 2 systems recieved spacesport pop)

And that ends t17. A mistake to give a early way of the eagle as the keii on behemoth bonus would have been stronger and now i have to wait 5 turns but oh well.

Looks like we will hit our 4k industry target next turn we already have 3675. However I am mad I did not use KEII boost on industry correctly on the behemoth instead of on cardano. Big mistake and means I could have played better. I also should have build another fleet for this turn as we have 2 minor factions nearby we can conquer. Instead my speed will be slower than what it could have been :( Oh well. I think it is somewhat comforting to know you always have some things to improve on as well. 



5/6 grow this turn but not esh.



We now have 12 Galvrans. Hopefully we can reach 20 and then 50 soon.

Cardano looks like it is the best spot for our first Tachi and we also build a fleet. We are at max manpower at empire so we need to use some of it.

Because we simply do not have enough resources we send argosy one more turn for colonization :( (another thing I could have planned better.)



Combine fleets on Micre into 2nd eyes of the republic an dhead towards Nihal . Will be used for scouting the territory.



Minor faction was Sisters of Mercy. They will be shown mercy by being devotet to our great republic. So say we all


Buyout of planet on Ursa to speed up things (with + per planet its worth it)



Unfallen are hostile and insisting. However we want them to see the light and our ways and will teach them so soon enough.

Solo quest netting us more titanium and KEII. Yes please. Especially since we are already building ships however we need to update our design to push above the offensive power limit, we use our wrath of tonatsi weapons meaning we are more flexible with 100/100/100 at ranges but cannot shoot down missiles. 


Kogewa levels up. Even while we would get +20 industry and only 30 dust now with 10% boost over a few turns now it will help a lot as the dust income grows overall.

Hmm reflecting on it we should have sent the Argosy to Lonica for the resource.


Sisters of mercy only have 40 millitary but it will take us 5 turns to get there :( We will will try to boost the movement of the ship and both research wormholes and other warp technology soon on the tech que.

New quest for more KEII.  However the explore location is quite far off. Might not trigger for a while. 



Achieved a cooporative quest 2nd place.. wish i had that hyperium 2 turns ago :(

Explore on Nihal triggering a quest that should net us a nice tech in 20 turns.  Then head towards Esh to explore curiosities.

2nd liberator fleet created and headed toward Lonica. Ship movement speeds are at unacceptable levels. and we decide to change laws. 



Micre que up for another fleet (it will target the pirate system then onwards to the minor faction) - oh and iter in 2 turns :P


Baten explored and I find Hyperium and thats pretty awesome as my mistake to go there first turned out a lucky mistake. We definitivly still need hyperium to upgrade our science and build a few more systems.



We explore on lonica and gain another keii quest that should be easy to finish :)



We finally send out the first liberator fleet (should have sent it turns ago sigh another mistake)



[PRESIDENT ADA] A lost oppertunity is a new possibility. You must use to your advantage Lonica has not been colonized yet and build a behemoth that will mine Lonica! 


We change our tech tree to prioritize mining instead before wormholes. 



We design the hakkaido (it will be upgraded but lets get it out on the map!)


And change que in Cardano



We also change the design of Tachi to prepair for using way of the eagle with improved radius

Esh after exploring - we have quite a bit of dustcidious trees we just need to find a 2nd resource and upgrade all our system development. The darkglitter we are using to boost our population so not a good qoice (and a bad system development bonus)

Hakkaido is moved to Esh. It will be upgraded next turn then sent to Lonica. In the meantime it probes on esh for dustcidious trees. I wonder what happens if I colonize the planets if the probe is gone. Lets find out !

We change laws again from +4 move to fidsi boost. Might need to change back again next turn


And there is a new hero in the market! We hire him ofcourse as a scientist he will lead our scientist party and is a priorit hero. We will shift Kogawe with his food skills to Esh with its low food values while norn will oversee on Micra where there is a wonder finished next turn.

Status update:

We have massive increase in FIDSI and population. But this is more about the past 5 turns than it was about these 5 turns as it laid the foundation. These 5 turns where proably the worst in my ARR so far and I made several mistakes.  We could have Grown faster if we had built ships earlier and we could have had an even stronger industry if we had used the KEII bonus properly. Even so we have 68 population ahead of our goal. We have 5279 industri and 3476 science also ahead of our industry goal of 4000+. So while there is some gloom and mistakes all is not dark. In 2 turns our behmoth will add 20% industry to 4 systems and we will colonize nihal while probe mining Lonica to make it 5 systems under the behemoths banner not to mention with tech upgrades we can possibly even increase the banner size more. We are also going to test out if you can have different probe mining at the same time on a planet and next turn we also find out if a probe mined planet that is colonized looses the probe mining status.


Elections will happen at the end of the turn and the next observance is blood ritual meaning we can have a lot of KEII and we can use that to upgrade our planets  with fealthy foundation.



Resource wise we have improved the hyperium situation and will soon hopefully have a big boost on Orichalcix.



Luxury wise we could go for Superspuds/Dustcidious trees if we do not find soon another option with high amounts of luxuries.



Tech wise we need curst engineering at some point - and it will be interesting to see if we can probe mine without the technology or if we need to have it to be allowed to probe mine.



Fleet wise we have improved quite a bit (but not as fast as we should have) we have a honor fleet with our banners to allow a big keii radius, we have the miners of the republic that will soon be tested in action and both 3 eyes of the republic and 3 liberators of the republic. Upkeep is negible.  Hopefully we can push 3k manpower soon to trigger quest for this.  



Quest wise once we trigger the quest we will have much less influence problems and our hyperium focus will pay off



Our heroes have gained some traction and we are going to prioritize the scientist hero Norn due to his poltical position that should net us conscription genious in the future.




Map situation - we seem to have lumeris to our north  and 3 minor factions to north / northeast.  We should upgrade radius of KEII for a larger industri bonus and we need to quickly push forward with our fleets so we might need to renact the +4 movement law. 


Goals for T21-25:

- Colonize nihal or Aeri if mining probes are lost when colonizing a planet. If not then we will colonize Lonica. 

- Conquest of Ainae and possibly one more system with 1st liberator fleet. 

- Destruction of pirate base at jovantus and if possible manage to conquer Kuma as well with the 3rd liberators during the next 5 turns.

- 2nd liberator fleet goes into the unknown and gambles upon meeting a system northeast from lonica.

- A massive improvement of our fleets. Expanding size from 3 to 6 ships. Upgrading of tanks or upgrading to air power.

- Doubeling of science values. Doubeling of industry values. Doubeling of dust values.

- Build an amplifier of the republic behemoth fleet that will give a 15% or more fidsi bonus to either Micre or Cardano

- Increase our movement options with wormholes, warp speed bonus and better movement modules for our ships.

More possible goals: Set us up for Citadel expansion tech as it will be a strong Science and industry boost that will also gain us a new law - try to reach it by t30



Gain antimatter and build carrier ships (by t25)

It looks like we have unfallen and lumeris to our noth and east respectively and with quite the distance from our own ships. We need to have fleets that have far more movement and prioritize heroes with fleet movement speed boosts.

Sophons on Micre should perhaps be spread out on other planets since it will gain us some -20 technology cost if we can gain 50 pop.

Behemoth goal :  Stellar study 2 to lower tech cost even more on a new knowledge behemoth fleet that will orbit a nebular cloud and black hole for 9% or more tech reduction cost on empire and science development.
