Hello. I am Eysteinh a long time fan of the endless series. From time to time I write ARR where i both immerse into the game and also try to show some of my thinking of why I do the moves I do both for my own learning experience but also for others learning experience. Hopefully someone finds this usefull or interesting. This ARR leans more heavily on the strategy part but I also sometimes add immersion or story elements.
We formulated some goals at the end of the last part:
Goals for T21-25:
- Colonize nihal or Aeri if mining probes are lost when colonizing a planet. If not then we will colonize Lonica.
- Conquest of Ainae and possibly one more system with 1st liberator fleet.
- Destruction of pirate base at jovantus and if possible manage to conquer Kuma as well with the 3rd liberators during the next 5 turns.
- 2nd liberator fleet goes into the unknown and gambles upon meeting a system northeast from lonica.
- A massive improvement of our fleets. Expanding size from 3 to 6 ships. Upgrading of tanks or upgrading to air power.
- Doubeling of science values. Doubeling of industry values. Doubeling of dust values.
- Build an amplifier of the republic behemoth fleet that will give a 15% or more fidsi bonus to either Micre or Cardano
- Increase our movement options with wormholes, warp speed bonus and better movement modules for our ships.
Also we will try to spread out sophons for a future -20% tech reduction (will combine with other bonuses and be very powerfull) if we can reach 50pop. We will also build several new behemoths and grow our behemoth tech line. If at that point we are done with techs we will head for empire development to try to reach a new law slot and also set us up for carriers.
We change the tech queue loading up on behemoth techs and hoping that you can mine with a mining probe even if you have not the resource explotation tech (if not we need to reorder the tech que)
We also send a sophon from Micre to Ursa
With that we end t20.
Elections starting t21 is quite dramatic. Ruthian has grabbed political power with the religious party. We now have two possible senate hero members.
We discover a minor faction that could prove very usefull to conquer - i mean peacefully liberate..
Argosy is ready for yet another colonization. Hopefully we can manage 2 colonizations during these 5 turns.
We upgrade our armors as the enemy systems seem to be gaining defence
We build the ITER getting us 5 KEII
We buy 3 eden insence to boost sophons (boosting the 3 population types that will give us tech cost reduction and tech % rate)
Norn levels up twice due to ITER built and focuses on industry / food boost
Riftborn hero levels up once as well focusing on dust
* Kogewa levels up focusing on dust
Ruthian with his new found poltical power levels up as well and as a member of the senate he becomes a conscription genious promcing all the glory of becoming like horatio himself
Due to not having an ecological party in power anymore we need to rethink our laws. We do not need extra movement this turn and will focus on system improvement reduction
7 systems out of 7 gain population this turn :)
We finish the following constructions:
We unlock the next tier on system development, sadly we do not have any good resourc targets to use.
We finish the miner behemoth tech - however we will wait to upgrade until next turn when we have more support modules on the behemots with the next tech we are researching.
The argosy heads for nihal - we will leave lonica alone to be mined by mine probes.

We declare war on the sisters of mercy in preperation of the ground invasion
We try to blitz the defence
Winning decisively with 1 pop loss and sadly loosing an industry building.
We occupy as we need to speed up or system growth and the only thing we could spend keii on this turn would be the +1 fidsi per planet thing at 25 KEII and it feels not worth it at all

As well as a Kanji design for the fleets that will amplify FIDSI
In Cardano we are building something cheap to store up production so we build a scout
The same we are doing in Micre to prepair to build more advanced behemoths next turn
We are the first to finish the deed of having 3000 manpower. Depoyable ramparts are definitivlt nor bad !
We upgrade our Kodachi they now carry a massive 800 manpower each and can also function as siege if needed.
Bumper crop event we easily want more strategic resources. Really great turn for us so far!
We no longer have +2 vision event on our fleets
Ada population boost ended and we definitvely want to keep boosting our population of ADA
Luckily we have Dark Glitter
7 out of 8 system grow this turn and we gain many galvran citizens a happy event.
We finish a bit of production
And tech
Especially enhanced behemoths will hopefully make a difference

We redesign our Tachi on the Honor fleet carrying our banners. It goes from a radius of this
(We have two extra support slots we add more banners)
After 250 dust upgrade it becomes this size gaininng several of our systems :)
Ofcourse we now boost our honor fleet with way of the obsidian eagle
Going from 5013 industry total on all systems
To 5624 industry a massive 624 industry per turn boost to our empire from a single source :)
We throw in homeland defence for good measure as it is cheap and boost our manpower growth.
Hakkaido design is upgraded to a massive 1125% mineral probe bonus
Hiranga is upgraded as well (and will be upgraded again in 2 turns)
Kanji is upgraded as well it will net us 50 FIDSI and 25% FIDSI bonus on the system it orbits :)
We queue up a Kanji in Cardano
Upgrading hakkaido on the minters of the republics fleet is not cheap but hopefully will be very worth it
On Janus we merge ships into 4th liberator fleet and upgrade the ships to massive manpower carrying beasts
In Jovanus we blitz the pirates
Gaining Keii and titanium :)
And we push on towards kuma
Argosy heads for Aeri as we decide to colonize next turn (we cant get enough hyperium this turn)
Ofcourse faith then decides to play us a trick to let us know we could have played better as our next scouting of curiosities nets us hyperium (note to self always explore curiosities before doing other moves)
We upgrade the 1st liberator fleet and let them stock up on manpower for a turn.
1st eyes of the republic goes out into the unkown while 2nd eyes sends out quite a bit of probes and 2nd liberators fleet head for Isso for conquest.

We sell more luxuries and buy a new hero on the market - a scientist councelor
We start the turn with some hostile greetings from the unfallen
Oh and the crush everyone else in the galaxy type of Cravers seems to want to greet us as well
We discovered another neutron star - a possible target for our behemoths
Spaceman event over helping our influence quite a bit!
Our empire now has 20 Galvran giving us a nice bonus, we are also very soon getting 50 ada population.

Norn levels up, not much to choose from so we go food (we could have considered making him a mix of governor / ship captain )
Ruthian will go for Public relations expert since he is in the senate. He sure has used his politic position as soon as the religious party took power. (Hopefully it will stay in power gulp)

We find Zvali on Baten - we want to encourage growth of them as well so we buy a bluecap mold and boost the pop.
We also boost sisters of mercy as we have a religious senate leader that we want to let stay in power
It seems the cravers are coming from the east
They seem to have varied designs some energy based and some kinetic based
Cardano have increased quite a bit in FIDSI because of the kanji in the 1st systems operation fleet
2nd eyes of the republic keep fighting for control over Lonica, important since we will have our mining operations here very soon.
1st miners of the republic arrive at Lonica where we quickly find out that you do indeed need the technology before you can mine.... (we need to change the tech order!) - oh well we can atleast mine 33 glitterdust and 33 hydriomiel per turn and the probe only last for 60 turns lol.... (game will have been over by then probably) that means after the Hakkido has sent out probes we can probably redesign it into something else.
We sell some resources so we can afford argosy to colonize the aeri system
We decide to redesign kodachi for future builds as we need more movementpoints and 350 manpower per ship is already quite a lot
For our queues now we will also prioritize more to gain manpower as we are going to spend quite a bit of it per turn as well going forward.

In Jovanus "someone" (horatio color) has settled so we have a nice system to capture soon :)
With that we end our turn. Sadly we need to sacrifice to gain KEII this turn that will slow down our pop growth. We need to find more targets for combats to keep fueling our KEII.
Cravers seems all fuzzy and warm to us now because we are enemies with the unfallen. Too bad we need the KEII from cravers too ^^

The ada population now gives us a -20% tech cost. Now thats what I can a bonus :)

As well as the riftborn hero (someone tell me the alt + code for his sign please :P)
Construction completed, micre has quite a bit of loaded up production we can spend.
We finish another behemoth technology and now we can redesign the Hiragana class
800 science and -15% technology cost of the type of study is pretty nice!
Micre builds one with its stored up industry - it will head for the black hole iras 043395
We move our ships that had queued up movement and we discover the homeworld of the unfallen
It has 185 infantery and 62 armor some 1855 manpower YIKES. Not to mention it is a bloody citdal as well. Well we shall go where eagles dare! (yes i like that movie) I think we need to siege Corana so we will not wait to load up more troops but instead as quickly as we can get to Corana to start the siege.
But first the 4th liberators fleet will destroy a craver fleet happening to come there for KEII

20% of the galaxy is now explored and it is quite a big galaxy out there I guess

Cardano will store up some production and build more defensive space for manpower to be stored. Sadly we also need to do a blood ritual to keep the KEII strong.

We add the antimatter tech to our tech queue
That ends our turn. Next turn we will probably decide on a system development as we are running out of stuff do to without it. We should also consider doing trades for resources.
We have lost control of the constillation Norma. AUCH 15% less science. That Corana is going to fall!

With our influence spreading we start to gain control of the map
Luxury prices are increasing. At this point I think it is mostly good as we will probably start to sell luxuries at a point (and more than what we buy)

4th liberator fleet attacks and gains us some KEII - it now will head for corana with war banners active to speed up the process.
We also do some radical action changing from hatched at home to star boogie bill. We will change back soon but for now we need fast ship movements

1st eyes of the republic at the very front of the war lands on the citadel and probes in all visible node direction and scouts finding more antimatter!
Seeing enemies all over the map millitaristic policies start to gain approval
We also discover an asteroid field
[President ADA] there is wisdom in the crowd. We must indeed gain military superiority to make sure of our survival and dominace. We will unite a majority of systems under our control so we can all finally feel safe! But this must be done with haste - in fact we shall try to do it faster than we have ever done before with less than 50 time units.(turns)

1st miner fleet heads for esh where it will be upgraded
With our empire having enemies on all sides there is only one answer that seems obvious to the hisso -offence is the best defence. The long term goal has been set conquest of the galaxy before turn 50!
Our systems have grown quite a bit during this period we have 6905 industry 6986 science and 113 population with 1.9K dust per turn. We did not reach our target of doubling dust but it has not been needed either.
Politically we cannot afford to stay in star boogie bill for long if we do not increase our influence
System development wise we could always boost dustcidious trees and hydromiel for +60dust +4F per turn but hopefully we can gain some better resource and it is not that major boost for us as of now anyhow.
Strategic resource wise we are actually constantly short on titanium with all our fleet building. We need to prioritize getting more strategic resources!
We have many fleets and our manpower is growing healthy. We might want to consider gaining more ships that can store a higher manpower as a goal as well (and not bound to titanium)
Our Heroes are growing stronger by every turn almost and is starting to become a factor
Quest wise we realize we need to get a behmoth that can produce resources to trigger the quest (not just mine resources) oh oh silly me
With that we see some goals for the next turns (t26-t30): - Get a behemoth that can produce strategic resources
- increase our strategic resources per turn by a massive degree
- Increase our influence per turn significantly
- get new ship technology and a new law slot in prepairation of galvran law.
I never thought about stacking the banners in that fashion. A behemoth may be worth it I never thought to use them in that fashion. My red mining behemoth carries a engine but I don't like waiting. The force is strong with this one. I actually am going to copy you and see how it goes! Thanks!
Thanks! Yeah I think perhaps engine with 4x miners is more optimal since you probably will move it around quite a bit so I dont disagree with that. Just wanted to see a 1125% bonus :P
