Then what does it make with "Hissho", test subject hero of DotE and Nidya avian-peoples of EL.

Yuusho seem to be original Hissho, stuck around the universe without high-tech of Uchi, filled with Endless artifacts, Fomorians and even a working Juggernaut Behemoth. 

Yet in the Sykagoja quest (the place where Hissho were modified) there seems to be a mention that THEY HAD WINGS yet no Hissho ,even the primitives of Yuusho, seem to be even close to the description. Are no pure Hissho left in the universe?

Strangely enough EL race of Nidya seem to a be a lot like them, with weird wings and weird beaks. There's also a test subject in DotE, that seems to be one of those enhanced Hissho.

Side question - why Hisho wear those weird helmets? What made them go full robocop? (other than devs) What's behind the mask?!

Hissho: Genetically modified versions of the original species (also named Hissho)

The Hissho in DoTE has the appearance of a Hissho (the genetically modified version). The Nidya from El are not related. 

The Yuusho are to the best of my knowledge also genetically modified, they just were modified in a different way than the Hissho. Most likely their common ancestor is just a few millenia removed, but the Endless must have had wanted to try various things, since one species has typical humanoid legs, while the other has legs that are more leonine-looking legs, also fingers instead of claws, etc.

Nonetheless, as you'll see in today's Hissho comic (hype!), the two factions remain in good relations.

I'm guessing that the Nidya are the closest to the original, and the rest lost their wings because it was only useful in specific conditions for a showy gimmick.

Is there any photo for their original ancestor? Hissho mask are cool in my opinion, not sure that is for cosmetic only or body modification.
