Umbral Shadows are essintialy Haunts. So if some improvements look unnecessary for UC, they still fit their hosts.

Heh, I've thought this about Cravers before.  Half the quests and improvements don't fit Craver society or lore.  Do I care that my Horatio aren't attending work?  No, either they work or they get eaten for Craver dinner.

I just ignore the lore where it doesn't apply, and enjoy it where it does.

It'd be nice to have more faction-specific tech trees, but eh.  I get why they didn't.

I assume someone at Ampli would sit down and make some lore-friendly faction specific improvement text if they had time, but I can see why it's not a priority. Perhaps after Penumbra they'll be content enough with the state of the game to spend some time on QoL.

Yup, flavor text are important to me also. That's why I wish it's different for each races.

To be fair, this would be a valid suggestion to submit to the mod community as it doesn't change gameplay in any way, it's merely flavor and immersion and could therefore be a mod used by basically everyone that wants it.

Supermarkets make everyone happy. Even cravers. I know there's a thread about this somewhere. But if you want I guess it could be changed to something like, Slaughter Market?
