I'm confused:  As far as I can tell the Endless Day website only has content up from 2018.  It also looks like the "day" is a week long, and starts on 1/18.  The website mentions that it's a 5 year tradition now, so I was assuming it would start again today (1/18/2019), but I don't see any mention of it anywhere.

Is it still coming?  Will those of us who missed it last year still be able to access the hidden content and achievement?  How exactly do we do that?

It won't start that late, because Endless Day is January 21st. It is also a date hidden quests and achievements are programmed to work (till Jan 25, if I'm not mistaken).

Jan 18 was the day they made announcements last year, this year it was Jan 17. 

Stream, is scheduled to Jan 24th, because it's a release date for both DLCs. Website most likely will be updated for 2019.

Any idea if a game which I've started now will be elligible for the hidden quests on the 21st?  Will I have to start a new game?

If I remember correctly from last year, I couldn't find a quest-starting anomalies until I started a new game.

Anyone has a guess about the UC comic situation? 

I hope the new mechanics and race will come with some sort of turtorial or pdf instruction since it was not easy to follow how to use the new spy and hack mechanics by watching the stream.

I'm hoping they put something in the Wiki but following Amplitudes normal pattern you'll have to learn as you go...which is also rather fun.

I don't know if this works for every game from Amplitude, but my understanding is 1) the game has to be started during the Endless Day week for the in-game Endless Day event to trigger but 2) the in-game event itself isn't dependent on the date, so you can spin up one or two save games during the event and play them out later.

I checked my Steam profile and I picked up my Endless Day achievement for ES2 in May, so this seems to work.

Thanks for the info. let e take a wild guess then. A branching interactive comic where we have to solve a small puzzle to continue? 

Haha no, I meant in terms of narration and graphics, not in terms of groundbreaking narrative forms.
