No I have not been sniffing psychoactive space clouds... much... but that's besides the point.

I have been granted permission to share the beta of both Penumbra and Symbiosis with all of you.

I intend to run a series on both factions so we can explore their functionality throughout the game.

Thank you Amplitude. With my limited experience I can say that the Umbral Choir are a faction that feel unique and enjoyable to play, hacking as a new mechanic opens options for us to forgo diplomacy technologies and have another way to interact with pirates/minor, the new economic view provides more useful information at a glance, and cloaking offers new fleet comps in allowing for some short range vessels to escape the "kill zone" which exists when shorts try to close on med-long range ships.
