So just played 3 games with the last dlc and this is how they went.

First game it bugged out when i pressed end turn it just says pending forever. tried load the game but same problem it's just stucked at turn 60 something.

Second gameplay was going well with my military tall faction that i like to play until 3 of my 5 super systems were oblitared and it was the 3 that did not have shields so that ended that game and I looked on the internet for solutions. I found you added a remove oblitarator button (very nice).

Started game 3 with no obliterators and got on the same galaxy branch as umbral choir(UC)...many hacks later i made it to anti-stealth tech and went for them to find they had multiple behemots...ok many more hacks later i build fleed and go to war. When i finaly find their home base and am 1 turn away from my siege army to arrive and crush them they teleport out.....spend 20 more turns trying to find them and they are nowhere....I gave up. And this was a test game vs UC on sandbox. playing vs UC is very frustrating with no fun and no skill involved.

Simply put if the galaxy is huge you will never find them in time to kill them and if  the galaxy is too small it's like fishing in a barrel.

Overall a frustrating experience and I will have to wait until some patches fix the bugs and balance the UC out. Thank you for the remove obliterator button:)

Dude, they require to hack into special node to translocate to it, they couldn't go too far.

Depends. If I play as UC I try to have a few transmigration beacons ready at all times, preferably at different portions of the galaxy. AI might have done the same

I mean it takes some seriously dedicated effort to get a beacon behind an enemy empire as you have to put in multiple backdoors usually due to the traces.  I think the main point for dealing with UC (who probably do need some tweaking) is that if you force the relocate you've just tanked their economy for a while and can catch up (as it consumes all beacons even on a fully charged move).

I doubt actively eliminating them is often going to be the go to strategy as it's such a hassle, but just keeping them beat down while you complete one of the other objectives will often be the way to go.

True. Especially if they relocate to a far away location it means they will become someone else's (somewhat crippled) problem. Unless you hold a serious grudge that is. Even so I agree that it would not be the best idea to actively hunt them down as it'll require precious resources which you'll need to compete with more immediate threats.

trust me they are not close i've looked in that entire galaxy corner. problem is the galaxy settings are on huge with plenty of everything....and that revealed to me a problem they have on small galaxies....the seem like vodyani 2.0 were the galaxy matters so much to the point of good game or bad game
