Hello fellas, so here's the thing: i've made a fleet (8 ships, small and medium size. it doesn't matter) and turned them into pirates, there were an enemy system near mine, and i wanted it gone. So i led my fleet to siege said system and guess what happend.

As soon as i push "begin invasion" button, and computer starts to calculate the outcome of the siege, i suddenly get  "Invasion aborted" message (or something like that). so i go and check the relationship between AI and pirates, and i found out that while computer was calculating the attack, AI just proposed them a truce and then immediately canceled it, because for a few seconds i couldn't attack their ships.

Ok, i thought for myself, maybe it can happen once. And so i tried to invade enemy system again, same outcome, AI forces me to stop invasion after i push "invade" button. Why is this allowed?

And the best part is that i tried to invade the system with my pirate fleet for so long that in the end, what i think happened, is that my enemy ran out of empire points and couldn't buy peace with pirates anymore

But it took me around 10 turns to finaly do it

Huh.  So hitting peace with pirates forces hostile privateer fleets to a truce state?  I've never used privateers; that's quite a scenario to run into.  Don't think I've seen the AI get that stubborn about anything before.  Weird.

There's more, if a faction is in peace with the pirates, and at some point pirates are gone forever, peace remain valid throughout the entire game and your privateers wouldn't be able to attack said factios fleet.
