So i was looking into the lore of endless space and was thinking about how the Umbeal choir and the Unfallen both want to "heal" the galaxy. I am very slowly working on a Umbral Choir playthrough but was wondering if lore wise the Umbral Choir and the Unfallen wouldnt become natural allies? Or are their ideas of "healing the galaxy" are different were they would become natural enemies
they both want to "unite" the galaxy and keep it save, even have the same reason to help with the academy quast and revive the last. the unfallen home would is a last, stack inside the planet (the heart). and the cry the umbral choir heard was the last crying.
but yea, both ways they want to heal the galaxy is basacly forse there peace on oders... they can easly see the oder as foes If they will not like other peacafall way :/

There's one crucial difference I can think of, though: while the Unfallen have a good understanding of life in the galaxy, that individuals are precious, etc, the Choir struggles a lot with individuality and what it means to be "sentient," and their moral decisions can appear quite cold and even cruel because of it. The Unfallen would rather seek unity with the galaxy, while the Choir is perfectly content forcing everyone to get along by any means.
