Where and when can I download the ES2 Artbook? Will there be any printed book option as well?

You'll be able to download it in the Rewards section when it's ready. When it finally is, we'll be sure to make a blogpost about it an announce it on socials.

As for a printed option, I'm afraid that seems unlikely. At least I have not heard anything to that extent.

No news about the hero. And if there was news about another studio developing an expansion, those "news" were probably old news from before Awakening, as we are not currently planning and expansions.

I'd imagine with the crazy idea to summon a fleet at the beginning, the game was basically doomed.

Being someone who supported the game since early access I'm bitterly dissapointed that it ended like this.

Is there any chance as at least a PR exercise for potential buyers of future amplitude products for one last patch to be released, with some minor bug fixes and more importantly the ability to turn off that crazy spear of Islander thing? Thanks

As I have recently mentioned on Steam as well, we are looking into this.

However, simply reassigning people from Humankind to ES2 is not a satisfactory solution, as this would impact the quality of both. So at the moment I cannot say anything about the the contents of a patch or when it would arrive. When we do have something more concrete to say, we will announce it here on G2G and on Steam.

yes , 167MB is the highest quality artbook. But I still doubt if it is enough for such many pics.

Hi, if I can build off this - is the ES2 Artbook released? I could've sworn I saw it in the rewards section, but now I can't find it anywhere. I'd love to read through the artbook, so I was curious if it was actually out or I'm just tired, old, probably hallucinating...

I had the same problem but it just went to the bottom of the ES2 rewards.

I did have to click Load More twice and it was the last entry.

If you click "load more" in the rewards section a few times you should find it; you can also download it for free if you look for it in the dlc for endless space 2 in steam

Thanks, all of you! I guess I'm just blind, haha - but it was entirely worthwhile. I love artbooks, and the art for ES2 is perfect for getting you in a creative kinda mood, yourself. Again, thanks so much for the help!

The Artbook is still missing in Steam for Mac users. There are reports on the Steam forums that there was a 120mb update today on Steam, but it doesn't show up in my client. The artbook dlc shows as owned in the store, but there is no artbook pdf in the install folder for ES2.

Update - it does not show in the Steam client on my PC either, even if it is listed under the dlc tab. Maybe something is wrong with it if you own the ES2 Deluxe Edition (pre-ordered)?

Update Feb 5 - new update today on Steam fixed the issue, the Artbook is now present.
