About Vodyani kids: Not really, all Vodyani are just essence filled tanks that resemble adult people. Essence is a soup made out of organic matter with dust sprinkled in, it is what vodyani eat. It is a mixed bag of consciences.

About free time: If you are caught doing something that isn't productive/worshipping the Endless, you will surely get carbonized and then launched into space, get yourself muted for a week or two for saying blasphemies or even being restricted from refueling on essence. Quest text heavily implies that any insubordination is punished.

1.What type of "Leisure"Activities they would prefer to do?I know they would pray and learn lections,but there must have a lot more beyond that.

No, why whould they be? The remnants of the original race are mostly left on Tchinomy, and those aren't exactly whom you play. Vodyani that you play are litarally ship-bound. To create a new Vodyani individual, one must go through partial virtualisation before occupying the Cloth with the help of the Essence they harvest. Which means you already create an adult, and I see no point in making Cloth that reminds a child, although it is possible to create one.

New Vodyani can be (and mostly are) "uplifted" not only from Tchinomy population, but from any race. For example, a hero Varb St Zouieina once was a Vaulter.

This does techically imply, that children can be taken for "uplifting" process, but I think it would be hard for non-mature consiesness to "survive" this process and it will simply dissolve and meld with the rest of the Essence applied. In case it survives, consciousnesses is still stripped of individualism and memories, so not much of a child would left.
