I don't know what to do to assimilate the Amoeba minor faction (and a programming error)

Good evening. The Amoeba faction is friendly with me now and they gave me an assimilation mission - "at the altar of the old (or ancient) gods" - which tells me to "send a fleet to the red supergiant star $starName (there is a programming error here),  and to return to the home planet $MinorFaction (programming error). From the localization button, I know the star is one called Columba and the minor faction, of course, Amoeba themselves. However, the description of the mission says they "celebrate the existence of the star for 3 days and 3 nights"; Does that mean I need to spend three turns there before returning to the Amoeba star system? also the Columba star system is pulsating.


The bug occurred in the language "Portuguese-Brasil" which is my native language. If I can help the developers further, the description where the bug occurred says: 

"Envie uma frota para a estrela supergigante vermelha $starName, e retorne ao planeta natal $minorFaction."


which is similar to what I had written before between quotes.

Looks like the mission objective doesn't match up with the one in the English localization.

Actually knof, it seems some minor faction missions are random. At first, I got the mission I described above, after playing again, I noticed a Riftborn fleet had started an advanced outpost next to my home star system. After that, I loaded a save a few turns before to make my military fleet to intercept the Riftborn. In this turn, when I went to rendezvous with the Amoeba again, the new assimilation mission was to "have happiness higher than 70 for 10 turns".

concerning the description in english, is it displayed like that? with the programming variables showing instead of the names itself?

Yes, the Minor Faction quests are random. But the localization for this one doesn't match up, it should be the same across both languages.


Your new one was:


Name="%MinorFactionQuest17-Choice01Objective">Reach $Amount01Name [happinessColored] in your Empire and maintain it for $Amount02Name [turn] Turns


Name="%MinorFactionQuest17-Choice01Objective">Alcance $Amount01Name de [happinessColored] no seu império e mantenha assim por $Amount02Name [turn] turnos.


And yes, the variables are part of the localization files. They should be replaced with the real names, so not getting replaced is a bug, possibly from using old variable names.

I see. your new reply tells me that the descriptions are the same for both languages regarding my current quest.
