Good evening. In my campaign, Sophons and Riftborns have some colonized systems and outposts. But the Vodyanis just started colonizing systems, that is, in the 55th turn. Why is this happening?

If you are talking about Vodyani AI, it is rather bad compared to others, on a similar level with Unfallen AI, and does not really support vodyani affinity as a real player would. They are rather slow and just cannot compete with other factions really.

That is unless they get a decent start with minor factions around them. Then they colonize like nobodies business. In the event that they do not get that start they tend to flounder a bit.

And I will admit even I don't know how to get the Unfallen going. They are a bit frustrating to play with how long it takes to vine everywhere. I do build more vineships but man...the Ai snatches my worlds out from under me more often than not.
