So I am in an alliance with several AI's and one of them are Horatio. I got a sleeper on Horatios homesystem so  I can see whatever going on in that system. 

Also, when i hover mouse over his population, i can see that his horatio pop only generate 3 food and 2 happyness on hot. And thats it. 

Im at turn 249 and by this time you would think that horatio woulda spliced some minors or whatever but for all i know they havent spiced at allt. Is the info im looking at wrong or doesnt ai horatio splice at all?

I wouldnt mind seeing horatio op as AI if they would splice, for now most of the games the Riftborn or Cravers are the the big ones and i would love to see horatio taking back his place. 

I just loaded a game to check, the ia horatio does splice (twice by turn 47 in impossible).

Then, i suppose that if you invade you would get unbuffed horatio, which seems better that way.
