Good evening ! I started an alliance with the Sophons and I was very excited for doing it to counter the Riftborn then I saw that they  had 4 military ships against 24 Riftborn ones. The Sophons asked for the alliance 5 turns ago (I'm on the 142th turn). I included the Lumeris empire in the alliance only to see how many fleets they had and they had 1 fleet with 2 ships. What I understand from this is none of the empires developed their system or the military branch. I think the Sophons are going to be useless in the alliance we created since they don't have military power. Is it possible the entire AI except Riftborn didn't play the game? Also, the Riftborn's ally, the Horatio, is weak as a defenseless kitten too: I attacked a 3-ship Horatio fleet  with 6 ships and they ran away.
