i cant blame you for not playing it if you've already heard of it, the games expensive for a tabletop game, with a single large sized ship like a star destroyer costing around 60 dollars here in the usa, with the xl sized super star destroyer costing 100 dollars, but from my experience with both armada and ES2, the space battles, with some tweaking can transition almost perfectly onto the tabletop genre with a armada style gameplay in mind.

I've actually played with this mod before and its definitely a start, but still doesn't catch the ship to ship combat that es2 has, a es2 reskin of armada would work so well because, the more I place armada and the combat system of es2 side by side, the more I notice just how similar they are, even their weapon range systems of short, medium and long range are similar.
