While the hissho are avian in origin, the artbooks description labels them as also being part human, does that mean that they are omnivores and can eat both plants and animals, or do they simply eat meat with a preference for fish due to their bird nature?

Since they are based on birds they are probably omnivores with a heavy preference for meat, and there is probably a strong cultural component about hunting their preys.
