I have a ship that I would like to switch out modules on but can't figure out how to do it. I can go to the ship editor and do it there but it does not show up on the current ship, guess if I build a new one it would. Help :(

Fly it to your system and there should be a button to retrofit it, it will upgrade the ship to the latest version.

Any other friendly system (apart from yours) should allow you to upgrade your ships/fleets, too.
