The forum is dead because the game is dead. ES2 is still riddled with bugs, issues, and poor design choices, but the devs have all jumped ship to Humankind and I for one have given up hoping that we'll ever get another substantial patch.

The game has a decent regular player base.It is not dead.

And that's because ES2 is way better than humankind, even on it's initial stage...

Pretty disheartening, to be honest...

But I saw their "sales" with DLCS where being quite bad on ES2 so, yeah, sales matter, the new big fisshy tiddy of AMPLITJUDE (R) is Humankind... So yeah. They have to keep the hopes up of the people to... Idk, tell the game is good when it isn't...

Or something like that... Idk.

Maybe humankind is just as good as ES2... Who knows?
