Me and my frend just started playing and cant find any information on how to claim collapsing stars and stuff like that (no planet systems). All we know is we need to spread our shpere of influence but we havent a clue on how to do that. Also any new player tips are welcome!

Influence is generated by a multitude of factors. They come from buildings(Colony HQ, Natural History improvement), Planet Specialization(which adds +1-3 Influence per pop on the given planet) and System improvements(Eden Incense(+30 Influence), Giga Lattice(+2 Influence per pop) or Tier 3 Influence luxury(name escapes me arm) that grants 15% per system level). Happier a system is, the more influence they generate. The quickest and easiest way to generate Influence is through planet specialization. You can access Spin Project(+1 Influence) by researching Xenology tech in Empire Devlopment tree(left quadrant). Furthermore if you are Horatio, you can add Influence to your pops by Gene Splicing Illo, Baghba or United Empire. The other way to generate gobs of influence is if you luck out with luxury spawn. Otherwise planet specialization is your best bet.
