Although you have already read and tried Tech Support forum pinned article(https://community.amplitude-studios.com/amplitude-studios/endless-space-2/forums/73-tech-support/threads/20661-read-first-common-issues-guides-and-solutions?page=1#post-211647) but failed to troubleshoot, try below:

If you are using Windows 11 as your system OS, try access "Advanced System" at windows control panel. you can easly access at Advanced System by simply typing "Advanced System" at windows search bar.

1. Access "Environment variables(N)"

2. Look for "System Variables(S)".

3. If there is "OPENSSL_ia32cap", double click on it and edit its value to ~0x20000000. If "OPENSSL_ia32cap"does not exist, add it and edit its value to ~0x20000000.

4. Terminate your ES2 running platform(in my case, it was Steam) and restart.

5. Play ES2.
