Hi,

First, I didn't play to the game, so it's just after seeing a video which present the game ;)

But here is a list I made of thing I think that must be present in the final game, maybe some are already here ;)

Diplomacy :

- More than just Peace/Neutral/War ( with some tension between factions )

- Demand from a faction to an other ( right of passage, economic embargo, war declaration )

- Supplication from a faction to an other ( as the demand but in the other way, the weakest beg to be protected by a strenghtest or something else, in exchange of ressources, treaty or technology for example )

- Treaty ( economy, technology or politic )

Economy :

- Embargo

- Favor a faction for business

- Protection of business ( maybe some piracy or sabotage )

Military :

- More tactics ( more than 3 indeed ^^ )

- Squadron ? ( Like a large ship launching a lot of small fighter ship to attack or protect )

- Size of largest ship ? ( Cruiser ? Mothership ? Death Star ? ^^ )

- Dammage after battle ? ( weapons destroyed, must repair ? )

- Type of weapons ? ( Beam, Missile, Plasma...)

- Weakness ? ( weakness for a weapon against shield or hull )

Colonization :

- Terraforming ?

- Native ?

- Natural disaster ?

Political :

- Repession of opponents ( extermination, sterilisation or slavery )

- Corruption of opposites parts ?

- Rebels ? ( a planet where the majority is'nt in agreement with political and refuse to apply some law or maybe try to get their liberty )

- Influence on the other faction ( Cruel politic may cause an ally faction to be disappointed or more ... )

Faction :

- More is always better :D

- Customization ? ( like choosing one or two technology acquired at the begining, or custom a little the behavior of a race ( reduice the tech to raise the ecology for example ), choice of flag ? )

- Hate of certains factions between them but also some factions friendly with other ?

You can just read all the GDDs, which detail how most mechanics will work, old, modified, and new.

Game Design Documents

Like The_Judge said, look at GDDs. Also if you look at new gameplay videos (there's a thread with links) you'll find most of your list is accomplished (won't go point by point, but very few are missing).
