Post-Cinematic Battle Analysis Screen for Better Decision Making

Will we be able to get a post-battle analysis after the cinematic battle? We don't get much input during the actual cinematic battle, but analysis of what happened could help us in future battles. Some information in a post-battle screen could be:


  • % of missiles intercepted by enemy flak
  • % of beam damage mitigated by enemy shields
  • % of kinetics absorbed by enemy armor
  • % accuracy of ships per range and weapon type
  • ships lost per battle "phase" / range
  • % of damage taken per weapon from enemy ships

Perhaps this could be a pop-up triggered by a button named "Advanced" in the current post-game screen showing the aftermath?


I think that since our primary input in these battles are the tactics and the ship design, knowing in-depth how those decisions affect battles in numbers might help a lot.

I remember this being a feature in ES1. Personally, I would love to see some even more detailed stats in an 'Advanced' section of the post battle.

Also I would like to see more info in ship design tooltips. In last PANCZASU video, he told info about shields and weapons, which is not clearly explained in tooltips, may be it is smoewhere else, but not shown in these videos.

Wait, we had this in ES1?

I mean, I watched the cinematic battle carefully to check if my designs were working out, but I didn't realize we had this before. @_@

We had the basic version in ES1. It was at the bottom of the pop up and gave info on absorption rate, flak efficiency, most effective weapon, etc.
