UI Info Panel Readability on "Ultrawide" Screens

Good day,

When playing at 'ultrawide' (21:9 ratio) resolutions, reading the contextual panel (the information frame that appears on the lower-left edge of the screen) can feel cumbersome when mousing over objects in the central or right-hand areas of the display. Pointing for information is a near-continuous activity (for me), and having to continuously switch cognitive focus between two distant parts of the screen gets tiring after a while.

I would like to suggest that an option be added that lets the contextual panel float adjacent to the mouse pointer, or allow us to reposition its anchor point to an arbitrary, static location in the display.

Thank you.

Same problems with my Ultra HD screen. Endless Space 1 had problems with it too. @Devs: can you fix that easy or is it integrated in the engine? I have to set down my resolution to play Endless Space relaxed.

We need an UI scalation in the options. Everyone should configure by himself how big he likes it ^^

Absolutely. I'm on 1600x900 and the UI is uncomfortably tiny.

I think this has been solved, as I have now the option to see the interface for High DPI screens and it's now terrific :D

However, I agree with the bottom left descriptions... sometimes you're hovering over an item on the center or right of the screen, and having to look at the description in the oposite side of the screen.... it's tolerable in a 16:9 screen, but quite uncomfortable at times in 21:00, as you really have to turn your head to read it :P

Since when is there an option for high DPI screens? Since the UE update? Didn't notice it so far, where can I find it in the game options?

Also, I agree that it is stupid, if the description appears down there... Maybe it works better with regular FHD, but it is quite bad in every higher resolution.
