I always questioned this one. Why did they put in this penalty trait. When I compare with similar game. Say civilization beyond earth, I can build as many city as I want given I find enough rich tiles to support growth.

I know this is a game. And some endless space universe element look plausible.  But this overpopulation one feel ridiculous.  Who is gonna complain how many star systems I own? Its not ever about how compact a planet is…

Overpopulation disapproval has to do with how many people live on a planet, not how many planets you own. That's the overexpansion disapproval. ;)

In a game where there is no fuel mechanism to contain expansion, this was thought to be the best counter I think.

thanks for feedback. just desicovered ecologist has a law that removes count against happiness for overpopulation.

dunno if game has a feature for removing count against overexpansion. that would be trully good.

almost as great as the great Endless race themselves . lol

thanks for correction for my "overpopulation and planet owning statement". did't check closely, but they are seperate elements against happiness in system eh?

I think with the amount of all the disapproval modifiers there are for population it breaks how the game is meant to be played and contradicts themselves with one another.
