This is just an apetizer for a longer list I am working on regarding heroes, but I feel the need to state these simple ... let's call then complaints/sugestions for now.

1)Redesign the way we recruit heroes. I find it interesting that it's a time based deal, but there are multiple issues with it right now. The first and most obvious one is lack of feed back. What is determining when I receive my next hero? How long will it be until my next hero arives? What determines academy power growth and how long until the next level up? 

The second problem I have is derived from the first but also independent. Why are not able to refuse a hero? Perhps I have too many seekers and counselors and desire a guardian. But the academy disagrees with me. Well why can't refuse them? Also, perhaps I can't afford to pay for the maintenance and equipment of a new hero right now, yet he gets forced upon me. I think we should be given the option of reusing heroes or demanding a new selection if the one we received is not satisfactory.

2)Could we get some galaxy generation options for heroes? For example a "no clones" option to prevent hero clones from emerging (yes it limits the pool of heroes greatly, so what? Maybe I want to play like that and heroes of a dead empire will eventualy seek new homes among the remaining). Could we choose to only get heroes of the races curently part of our empire (so if I play vodyani, I will get the vodyani heroes plus any minor faction heroes I brainwash to be allies with me)? I don't think it's too much to ask really, I never liked the way ES 1 and EL handled heroes and the endless cloning that happened there. I was so annoying and it also lead to plenty of nonsensical scenarios (oh look, a craver working for a race of pacifist hippies ... lovely).
