In future, id like to be modding this game to a fair depth. One thing above everything would be learning how the AI system works. problem is, I am not familiar with Java script coding. I was trying to work out how the current AI works, and improve the AI by doing simple mods to it like making it research fleet size upgrades. As currently the AI does not do this, which i expect is something that will be remedied in later patches. My problem was i could not find anything beyond a hierarchical chance of action, and frankly im out of my depth. I am looking at this from a learning experience. Is there any good guides that your team uses to supplement their knowledge? Anything you can give me that will assist me learning this system would be great. Any advice from anyone is also welcome.
