I belive the fact that we can upgrade ark (especially with support modules that give 50% to yields in a specific domain) should be made more obvious at the start of the game. Also the ark should start with all it's weapons/armor/support slots filled (since it won't even change it's cost).

If we could make multiple ark desing it would be great too (and i hope we can unlock more supports modules for it with time (or maybe nerf the current ones and unlock better ones through tech eras)

I agree at least on the first part, but see reasons for the second part.

The big issue with a FULLY upgraded starting arc, especially weapon slots, is that it's by far the most dangerous thing in the galaxy, to the point of no contention.  Now you probably woudln't move it as you economy would tank and everything else, but I do worry that having a fully upgraded ark off the bat would resolve any pressure in the early game instantly (whereas it at least cost 500-700 dust right now to hit that point).

well true, i remember a game where i actually started right next to antoher empire, i just send my ships to leach for 10 turns, brought in an ark, declared war, sieged 5 turns and done, 15 turns and an empire has been eliminated.

I agree that the arks are very strong, but like i said having the 1st one fully upgraded wont change much (since the ark i used was built after a remade the design). The upgrades (withe ones at least) are not reflected in the essence cost of the ark though.

Would you fit a leech module in your Arks? 

Leech on an ark is not worth it at all in my eyes.

Either A. the ark is anchored, and it does nothing, or B. the arc is around an enemy system, in which case i'm going to own it shortly.

In both cases giving up a +50% FIDSI slot isn't worth it.
