So having played the original Endless Space and now moved onto the new Endless Space I've gotta ask, will there be more ship designs?

The idea itself is similar to how you could recruit other "units" from Endless Legend but with ship designs, so all those minor factions that you assimilate into your empire could potentially give you a ship design of a certain class as long as you meet the tech requirements such as tech era 2 to unlock those mid sized ships.

Or if at all possible to have the minor factions you recruit from become more noticiable in combat such as ground engagements, again this could be reflected in a unique skin from where you recruited the armour or the troops from as I think it'd be interesting to see your fleet have an auxiliary section to it made up of something like Hisho ships or Craver armour when you're fighting as the Sophons rather than just being limited to your factions ship designs in general.
