Hey guys,

I just wanted to add some suggestions for new possible factions for Endless Space 2 and compare them to the factions from Endless Space 1

Endless Space 1 had:

Humanoid Races (Races with human bodies)

1) United Empire = Humanoid Race of  Empire loving, Military Society, Expansionalist

2) Sheredyn = Humanoid Space Bounty Hunter Society like the Mandalorians from Star Wars 

3) Pilgrims = Humanoid Race of Space Hippys that were into technology and were Pacifist 

Alien Races

1) Sophons = Intelligent but fragile alien race obsessed with science

2) Hissho = Clone of Japanese and Samurai society (Now their a minor faction in Endless Space 2)

3) Cravers = Locus that consume everything in their path and always want to eat more

4) Horatio = A cult of clones that keeps cloning themselves to reproduce. 

Enviromental Races (Races that evolved from plants and the environment)

1) Amoeba = Microorganisms that built ships and cultures with biology (Endless Spaces version of the Zerg)

2) Automatons = Self replicating robots with AI

3) Harmony  = Flying Space Crystals and Shards

Endless Space 2 has:

Humanoid Races

1) Vodyani = Humans that evolved into people made out of fire from some alien relic and now they think their gods

Alien Races

===================================

1) Sophons = Intelligent but fragile alien race obsessed with science

2) Cravers = Locus that consume everything in their path and always want to eat more

3) Lumeris = Fish people that have a Mafia setting and are primarily traders/brokers 

and 4 other unannounced Major Factions.

These are my suggestions for new Major Factions:

Humanoid Races

1)  Singularist = A Species of humans that left Earth after mans experiments to merge with machines caused divisions within human society, cival wars, and rebellions for being treated differently.  When Singularist first showed up they started their initial experiments on things like finding a way to improve the human brain to use the unused parts of the human brain in order to evolve humans and become more intelligent but after reaching success they couldnt resist the urge to keep becoming more and more mechanical in nature and so their next idea was to find a way to cheat death itself by finding a way to create a mechanical brain that you can download your memories and experiences into then implant that brain into a new body thus achieving immortality.  Can they really call themselves human anymore? and what do they think of those that didnt choose to merge with machines?

2) A Humanoid Warrior/Bounty Hunter Species = With the United Empire, Sheredyn, and Pilgrims gone we really need a replacement Humanoid Warrior race (this is just a request, not my idea for a race)

Alien Races

1) Draconians =  Dragons, Dinosuars, and reptiles have been in human legends, myths, and stories for a very long time its not too far fetched that there might be a reptile alien species out in the galaxy.

2)  Rak = An Alien Race that lives on Volcanic planets and inspired the ancient legends about Djins living in the deserts (Genies), I found out about them from this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MGnskLmpA8  <--- their shown in 7:18 of the video. I know the video is a little crazy but I found it pretty useful for researching ideas for possible new races of aliens.

Enviromental Races (Races that evolved from plants and the environment)

1) Replicators/Sequencers = Just like the replicators from Stargate SG-1  these are a race of Robotic aliens that self replicates over and over and consumes their environment in order to create carbon to continue to self replicate their materials. This could be a race of robots to mirror the Cravers race which are like Locus but dont name them the Replicators because they were already in Stargate SG-1. Im surprized that there arent more robots already in the game or a robot alien race, surely biological life cant be the only possibility of alien life in the universe.
