The game doesn't explain a thing about election rebellions. This is stupid how as the cravers, i have another pop in my culture causing rebellions. Shouldnt we just eat them?

This "negative effects from election results" debuff is MASSIVE and I don't see a single way to fix it. That does not seem like a balanced way to deal with happiness.

My entire campaign went to hell after the election and I did nothing to make it happen. I played sophons and lumeris a bunch of times. Never had election hell like this.

I'm all for the player being able to tank themselves (ruin your economy, lose political control, etc.) - but yeah, there needs to be a line.  And especially for thematic things like Cravers - which should be eating / enslaving / etc. non-cooperating population in the first place.
