So I started Vodyani on Endless

I wanted to "rush" Ecologists to get access to their laws.

By turn 60:

- I built 37 leechers in total (which are supposed to give ecology on production)

- took ecology quest decision

- farms + supermarkets in each of my 4 farming arks

- denark academy in main ark

- hired 2 ecology heroes.

Ecologists STILL have no representation to get into elections ^^

Entire population is still Religious, even though I have not build a single Religious improvement.

Then I got into a war with Cravers and wanted to clean them up faster than just bashing them with Arks, so I built 1 fleet of 9 military ships which give militarist.

Immediately it says I have enough militarists to form a party.

Elections start between Religous and Militarists, I choose "Finance campaign" for Religious for "average" boost.

Militarists WIN elections.

Yeah, that sounds pretty typical for the political system right now. I'm not sure if Amplitude was going to make any changes to it for Update 1 but that would be really welcome - substantially decreasing how many militarist points shipbuilding gives you, while increasing ecologist gain from all of their sources (but hopefully in a way that makes it natural, like with scientists or religious factions).

I haven't even tried to go ecologists in any of my games. Perhaps if one were... Sophons, and had assimilated an ecologist MF, you might be able to do it. None of the other major factions are suited to go ecologist currently - Vodyani empires only gain vodyani pop, Lumeris pop gives pacifist points equal to ecologist points, and Cravers suppress the spread of other pop. in their empires.

Ecologists are like unicorns - supposedly wonderful but never seen.

Yeah, so far the only way to make the system work is to be a Craver and not care about the system. lol

Thankfully, this is one of the issues in the game that seems to be fixable just with number changes, so it should be AOK before release.
